Tracing Worksheets for Kids — Letters, Numbers & Words

Tracing worksheets are where confident handwriting begins. Following dotted guides for letters, numbers and shapes warms up little hands, builds the muscle memory for letter formation, and gives kids an early, achievable win before they ever write on their own. Start with big, simple strokes and work up as their control grows.

Each sheet keeps the guides clean and generously sized so small hands aren't fighting the page. Print a set and slip them into a plastic sleeve with a dry-erase marker for tracing you can wipe and repeat, or keep paper copies to watch the progress stack up. Everything below is a free, ready-to-print PDF — choose a letter, number or shape and print it in seconds.
