How the printables are made

Everything on WildPrintables is free. We publish under one team byline rather than invented author profiles, and we'd rather be plain about the process: most of what's here is made by software, not drawn or tested by hand one sheet at a time.

• Puzzles and worksheets — mazes, word searches, sudoku, mandalas, tracing sheets, connect-the-dots and scavenger-hunt checklists — are laid out by generators we wrote ourselves. The mazes use a "perfect maze" algorithm, so there is exactly one path from start to finish, and every answer key is drawn from the same grid as its puzzle.
• Coloring pages start as line art made with Google's Gemini image model from a short written description (bold outlines, white background, no shading). Our code then places each drawing in the same letter-size template you download.
• Words and guides. Most word-search word lists and scavenger-hunt items, and the guide on each printable page, are drafted with Gemini from that page's real content — its word list, its layout, or the description its drawing was made from. Since September 2026 a guide shorter than about 100 words isn't published. The longer pages, like the hub introductions and the makers, were also written with AI assistance.
• What we do. Rapi Stack decides what to make, writes and fixes the generators, and audits the catalog in batches. In September 2026, for example, an audit of every guide against its page type rewrote 68 guides that were off-topic or too thin, and the 11 coloring guides rewritten from their drawings were checked against the drawings — three counts were wrong and got corrected.

What we don't do is look at every page before it goes live. If something is off — a word that doesn't belong in its theme, a glitch in a drawing, an answer key that doesn't match its puzzle — tell us on our contact page: messages go straight to the Rapi Stack inbox, and we fix the file.
