This tree comes pre-loaded with round ornaments just begging to be filled in — which is the part little kids love most. The outlines are thick enough that a three-year-old with a fat crayon can handle it.
Two ways we stretch it: laminate a copy so it becomes a "decorate the tree again" activity every day of December, or number the ornaments and call out a color for each one to sneak in some listening practice. Add a dab of glitter glue for the star and you're done.

Can we color it digitally on a tablet?

Does it matter if my child colors outside the lines?
Not at all. The bold outlines are there as a guide, not a rule — process matters far more than neatness at this age. Coloring "wrong" colors and wandering over lines is exactly how kids build the hand control that later shows up in handwriting.
My preschooler gives up halfway through. Is that normal?
Completely. Attention at this age comes in bursts — leave the page out and it'll often get a second visit later. Praising the effort ("you worked on that a long time!") rather than the result builds the staying power.
