Hunt ideas to get you started

  • Nature walk: pinecone, feather, three kinds of leaves, something smooth, an animal track.
  • Rainy day indoors: something older than you, a sock with a hole, a book with a blue cover.
  • Supermarket: a yellow fruit, something that comes in a can, bread with seeds.
  • Classroom “find someone who…”: has a pet, speaks two languages, can whistle.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a scavenger hunt?

Type a title, an optional subtitle (“Find everything before lunch!”) and your items — one per line, up to 20. The checklist page updates instantly. Press Print, or choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog, and hand out one copy per kid or team.

How many items fit on the page?

Up to 20 items on one letter-size page. The rows resize to fit: 8–12 items give big boxes for little kids, 15–20 make a longer hunt for older ones. Need more? Print two hunts.

What kind of hunts can I make?

Anything: a nature walk (pinecone, feather, something red), a rainy-day indoor hunt, a supermarket list for kids, a birthday party, a classroom “find someone who…”, or a road-trip spotting list. Add emoji to the items if you like — they print too.

Is anything uploaded?

No — the page is generated entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored anywhere, and there is no watermark, account or fee.
