Easter Scavenger Hunt — free printable scavenger hunt for kids to print and color at home

This one runs the whole Easter morning: check off each spring thing as you spot it, indoors or out in the yard during the egg hunt.

Run it as a plain 'find it around the house' version for little ones, or hide small items for a real hunt. Print on cardstock and hand each kid a clipboard — the 'official' feeling makes them stick with it.

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need to read to play?

No — pre-readers do great with a partner reading items aloud, and matching a spoken word to a real object is early literacy in itself. Independent readers can take the clipboard and run solo, which is half the thrill.

Can we reuse the hunt more than once?

Yes — the same list plays differently in different places: house, yard, grandma's, campsite. Laminate a copy with a dry-erase marker and keep it in the car; it's a reliable boredom-breaker on any outing.

Can my child do this one alone?

That's the sweet spot of this age — hand it over and let them own it. Resist hovering: figuring out a sticking point solo (or choosing to ask for help) is a bigger win than a perfectly completed page.
