About half the numbers are already filled in, leaving plenty of space for your child to complete each row, column, and box using the numbers 1 through 6, with no repeats. To tackle this puzzle, we recommend focusing on one 2x3 box at a time. Encourage your child to identify the numbers already present in that box and then look at the corresponding rows and columns for clues. For instance, if a box is missing the number ‘4’, scan the rows and columns that intersect that box. If ‘4’ is already in one of those, it can't go in that particular square within the box, helping narrow down the possibilities.
