Frequently asked questions
Can we reuse the hunt more than once?
Yes — the same list plays differently in different places: house, yard, grandma's, campsite. Laminate a copy with a dry-erase marker and keep it in the car; it's a reliable boredom-breaker on any outing.
What if we can't find one of the items?
Make it a wildcard: substitute the closest thing you can find and have your child argue the case ("this counts because…"). The negotiation is more fun — and more language practice — than the finding.
What age is the Museum Scavenger Hunt best for?
It's designed for ages 4-10 — big, forgiving shapes and no fine detail. Those ranges are a guide, not a rule: reach a level up or down to match the child in front of you.
