Police Officer Coloring Page
coloring · ages preschool · easy

Our police officer coloring page features a friendly officer smiling with their hand raised in a wave, standing next to a patrol car. Little ones will love coloring the bright blue uniform and the red and blue flashing lights on top of the car – so easy for even tiny hands!
A fun idea: after coloring, talk about all the important ways police officers help our community stay safe. You could even use it as a prompt to draw or write a thank you note to a local officer!

Frequently asked questions
My child finishes coloring pages in two minutes. Any tips?
Try a slow-down game: pick three colors only, color one section per color, or add a background with crayons after the main picture is done. You can also print two copies and color side by side — kids naturally take more care when someone colors along with them.
The lines look thick — is that on purpose?
Yes. Bold, uniform outlines are much more forgiving for small hands: they hide little slips, make each area easy to see, and photocopy cleanly if a teacher needs a class set. It's the same style used in classic early-childhood workbooks.
Is this a good quiet-time activity for a preschooler?
It's one of the best: print two or three pages, set out crayons, and you have a genuinely screen-free 20 minutes. A dedicated "quiet-time folder" of favorite printables makes the routine stick.
