Oh, a playground! This page is bursting with fun, isn't it? We've got swings just begging for bright primary colors, a big slide that would look fabulous in sunshine yellow or sky blue, and maybe a merry-go-round that could be striped! Lots of big shapes here, perfect for little hands still mastering their grip on those chunky crayons.
Here's a tip from my playgroup days: laminate a finished page if your child loves it! They can "color" it again and again with dry-erase markers, and it makes for a wonderful, personalized placemat or car-ride activity. Less waste, more play!

Frequently asked questions
Does it matter if my child colors outside the lines?
Not at all. The bold outlines are there as a guide, not a rule — process matters far more than neatness at this age. Coloring "wrong" colors and wandering over lines is exactly how kids build the hand control that later shows up in handwriting.
The lines look thick — is that on purpose?
Yes. Bold, uniform outlines are much more forgiving for small hands: they hide little slips, make each area easy to see, and photocopy cleanly if a teacher needs a class set. It's the same style used in classic early-childhood workbooks.
My preschooler gives up halfway through. Is that normal?
Completely. Attention at this age comes in bursts — leave the page out and it'll often get a second visit later. Praising the effort ("you worked on that a long time!") rather than the result builds the staying power.
