Oh, I just *love* this donut coloring page! It's such a sweet, simple outline of a classic donut, perfect for little hands. My kids always gravitate towards the sprinkles – they're so easy to dot or scribble with a big crayon, and the icing gives a lovely large area for bold, bright colors.

What do we do with the finished page?
Display it! A fridge-door gallery, a clipboard on the wall, or a simple folder of "best work" makes kids visibly proud and keeps them asking to color again. Finished pages also make lovely mail for grandparents.
The lines look thick — is that on purpose?
Yes. Bold, uniform outlines are much more forgiving for small hands: they hide little slips, make each area easy to see, and photocopy cleanly if a teacher needs a class set. It's the same style used in classic early-childhood workbooks.
What grip should my preschooler be using?
Many preschoolers still use a whole-fist grip, and that's fine — it usually matures into a tripod grip by age 5 without drilling. Short crayon stubs (really) nudge fingers into the right position naturally.
What paper should I print it on?
